| Bitches like Popcorn come along only a few times in one's lifetime. I believe the mark of a really great dog is the ability to consistently "hold their own" when competing against much younger dogs in conformation. At seven & EIGHT years of age, Popcorn was 2nd & 3rd in Working Bitches, 12.5-15" in two very tough classes at the JRTCA National Trial. Popcorn was the Best Veteran Terrier at both the 2000 JRTCA & JRTCC National Trials. In 2001, Popcorn repeated as Best Veteran at the JRTCA National! In between showing and hunting, Popcorn has managed to produce some really outstanding puppies, including North Country Bailey and North Country Pear.
