Tek of Windermere
1986 - 1996

I have truly been blessed over the years with owning or breeding many of the breed's outstanding terriers. I have been privileged to own two stud dogs that have shaped the breed in North America: Tek of Windermere and Garon's Sailor. I would not have owned either of these two great dogs without the generosity of my friend Roma Garon of Bedfordshire, England. Roma has had Jack Russell Terriers for over 35 years and has won many important Championships with them. She is also a very well respected judge and terrier person. She has helped me immensely over the years.

Tek and Family

Tek's contribution to the Jack Russell Terrier is immeasurable. His sons include Windermere Titan, Windermere Radical, Fox Run Trek, and Rainland Hy-Tek. His daughters are some of the best brood bitches in history, and are responsible for many well-known terriers in the country today. Tek's descendants are continuing his influence from the East Coast to the West Coast. Windermere Solo, Camelot Derby, Fox Run Dagger, Fox Run Rivet, Windermere Popcorn, Redwood Rumble, Pepperwood Spriggan, Amblegreen Twist, Busy Bee, Cairnbrae Calamity are just a few of his descendants.


Garon's Sailor of Windermere 1985-2002
I was very fortunate to have been able to purchase Sailor from my very good friends Roma & Gord Garon in England. Sailor had won the 1986 JRTCGB National Trial and the Progeny Class at the prestigious Great Yorkshire Show, but they hadn't used him much as a sire because all of their bitches were related to him. I was thrilled to be able to import a dog of that caliber and with that breeding. Sailor has been nothing short of phenomenal as a sire. His sons include Fox Run Sonic, Point of View Simon, Fox Run Fergus, Sow's Ear Julien, Thimble Farm Bamm, etc. His daughters include Sow's Ear White Riot, Fox Run Sly, Point of View Samara, Sow's Ear Snippet, Thimble Farm Siren, etc.	Tek and Windermere Wasp
Those sons and daughters have gone on producing The Hollow Klondike, Brandywine Kona, Fox Run Rivet, Venture Axel and many other outstanding terriers.
